University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) is home to the College of Business, which houses the Executive MBA (EMBA). Consisting of 36 credit hours, the program is cohort structured, with courses that can be completed entirely online. Each course has at least one proctored exam taken through ProctorU, an online proctoring service, or in the 365 Learning Office.

The EMBA is a rigorous degree program that requires a significant time commitment, so students can expect to spend at least 10–12 hours each week on course assignments, discussions, and research across three semesters each year (Fall, Spring, and Summer). Courses in this AACSB accredited program run for 12 weeks each.

Course examples include Management and Organizational Science; Production/Operations Management; Managing Organizations in a Global Economy; Personal Branding; Information and Communications Technology in Organizations; Economics of the Firm; Strategic Management for Executives; and Seminar in Managerial Accounting.

The UNR EMBA is open to professionals with a Bachelor's degree in any major from an accredited four-year institution. Five or more years of professional work experience is required beyond undergraduate studies and GRE/GMAT scores are not required for admission. The UNR EMBA can be completed in 24 months.

Graduates of the Online MBA program at University of Nevada, Reno are employed, in graduate school, or in the military within a year of graduating.
