Agribusinesses are typically large-scale operations associated with the farming industry, and/or the processing and manufacturing of agricultural products, or the packaging and distribution of agricultural products. A Concentration in Agribusiness (AGBS) prepares students to enter this unique field by providing advanced courses with titles such as Advanced Market Analysis, Agribusiness Analysis, Finance and the Agribusiness Sector, Financial and Commodity Futures and Options, Food, Agriculture & Natural Resource Policy Analysis, Food and Agriculture Sector Public Policy, and International Economic Development in Food and Fiber Sectors.
Coursework for the Concentration in Agribusiness must be completed in addition to the MBA business core curriculum. Credit requirements for this concentration vary by school, but 12+ credits is typical.
