According to the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB), nearly 40 are accredited by the agency. Dozens more have been accredited by other notable accrediting bodies for business schools such as the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) and the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE). The School of Business at State University of New York (SUNY) at Oswego offers MBA degrees in Business Administration and Health Services Administration that can be completed 100% online. The Business Administration MBA requires 26 to 57 credit hours of study to complete and the Health Services Administration MBA requires 45 to 66 hours. The SUNY at Oswego Online MBA program practices a rolling admission policy, so students may start either program at any time of the year. The School of Business at Clarkson University offers a 48 credit hour Online MBA Program that takes as few as 24 months to complete. With the exception of a two-day Leadership Development course, the program may be completed entirely online. Following Leadership Development, students will take nine core courses including Economics, Ethics, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Finance, Decision Analysis, Information Systems, Marketing, and Statistical Methods for Data Analytics. Students will then choose five electives. Project Management, Logistics, and Negotiations are just a few options, and students may take courses that are part of Clarkson’s Advanced Certificate Program. The Online MBA Program ends with a Capstone Course in Strategic Project Management.
Clarkson also offers a Hybrid MBA. The program, which consists of the same 16 courses, allows students to mix between courses that are offered online or in person at the Clarkson University Capital Region Campus. The Clarkson MBA Program is AACSB accredited and it:

The Martin J. Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University offers a 54 credit hour Online MBA known as MBA@Syracuse. This AACSB accredited program consists of 36 credits of core business courses, 15 credits of specialization-focused electives, and three credits of U.S. and global residencies. Students may choose from six optional specializations including Accounting, Business Analytics, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Marketing Management, or Supply Chain Management. While coursework for the Online MBA may be completed entirely online, all students will participate in “three-day long residencies in cities around the world.” One residency requires students to meet “face-to-face with classmates and professors for networking and socializing. Students also participate in workshops and hear from guest speakers from top companies.” The Online MBA Program at Syracuse University may be completed in as little as two years. The School of Management at Marist College offers a 30 credit hour Online MBA Program with three optional Concentrations including Ethical Leadership, Financial Management, and Healthcare Administration. The curriculum consists of nine core courses and three elective/concentration courses. Full-time students in this AACSB accredited program
may complete the program in as few as four semesters, while part-time students may take up to seven years, depending on the number of courses they take each semester. The program is offered in an asynchronous format, so there are no specific sign-on times each week and start times include the fall or spring semesters, with each semester having two rounds of eight-week classes. The AACSB accredited programs at Zarb School of Business are open to both domestic and international students. Students hail from 51 states and U.S. territories, and 73 countries. The MBA in Technology Management at SUNY Polytechnic Institute (formerly SUNY Institute of Technology – SUNYIT) is offered online only. The 33 credit hour program is designed for both full- and part-time students, and full-time students may complete the program in as few as two years. Part-time students taking two courses at a time will normally finish in four years. Students must choose a Concentration in either Accounting and Finance, Health Informatics, Human Resource Management, Marketing Management, or Business Management. SUNY Poly is AACSB accredited and the Online MBA program ranked #110 Nationally by U.S. News & World Report.
Monroe College, Bronx, New Rochelle, Queens
King Graduate School at Monroe College offers an Online MBA with Concentrations in Entrepreneurship, Finance, Healthcare Management, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Marketing. A General MBA is also available. The 37 credit hour, ACBSP accredited program is designed to take two years to complete and it ranked #132 Nationally by U.S. News & World Report.
Mercy College, Dobbs Ferry, Bronx & NYC
The School of Business at Mercy College offers an MBA Program that offers some online courses. The 54 to 57 credit hour program is GMAT optional, and classes are offered in the evenings, on weekends, through distance learning and at the New York City, Bronx, and Dobbs Ferry Campuses. The Mercy MBA also offers a “Turbo Program,” which allows students to waive up to 21 credits. This means Turbo MBA students may only have to take as few as 33 credits, which could take just one year to complete. Mercy College is fully accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) and it is a member of the National Association of Colleges & University Business Officers (NACUBO).
Saint Joseph’s College, Brooklyn, Long Island
Saint Joseph’s College (SJC) offers a variety of Online MBA options including an Executive MBA (EMBA), a Dual BS in Organizational Management/EMBA, a Health Care Management MBA, and a Dual BS in Health Administration/MBA in Healthcare Management. According to SJU, all Graduate Management Studies Programs “emphasize the development of abilities associated with superior managerial performance and the application of theoretical and quantitative knowledge to everyday business situations.” Students in the online programs do not have to log on at a specific time, but they can expect to spend at least three hours per week, plus homework, assignments and studying per three-credit course. As part of Saint Joseph’s College, the Online MBA Program is MSCHE accredited.
Utica College, Utica
The Department of Business at Utica College offers an Online MBA that may be completed 100% online or in a blended format. Students in the blended program can participate in synchronous (face-to-face or live online) learning by either attending the class on campus or by joining that class remotely using a personal computer or tablet. Specialization options for the program (whether 100% online or blended) include Cybersecurity, Cyber Policy, Finance/Accounting, and Health Care Management. A General MBA Track is also available. The 30 credit hour MBA program does not require the GRE, GMAT or a business degree for admission. However, applicants must have at least two years of work experience, a bachelor’s degree, and a minimum GPA of 3.0. As part of Utica College, the Online and Blended MBA Options are accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (CHE MSA).
SUNY Empire State College, Saratoga Spring
The School for Graduate Studies at SUNY Empire State College offers several MBA Programs that may be completed 100% online, online with residencies or online with executive retreats. Offerings include the MBA in Global Leadership (100% online, 45 credit hours, 24 to 47 months to complete), the MBA in Healthcare Leadership (online with two two-day executive retreats, 42 credit hours), the MBA in Management (mostly online with three to four weekend residencies, 48 credit hours), and the Veteran and Military Pathway (online with two-day residencies, 48 credit hours). All programs offer the opportunity to enhance the degree by incorporating an Advanced Certificate into the program. Just a few Certificate options include Nonprofit Management, Global Brand Marketing, Innovation Management and Technology Transfer, and Project Management. The MBA Program at SUNY Empire is accredited by MSA and IACBE.
Medaille College, Buffalo, Rochester
Medaille College offers an MBA Program that takes 24 months to complete for online students or 12 months to complete for Hybrid students. The Online Program is delivered in seven-week terms and the Hybrid Program (half online, half on-campus) allows students to take up to two classes at a time. Regardless of delivery format, the MBA program consists of 48 credits or 56 with a Concentration in Integrated Healthcare Delivery. In addition, both programs have Fall, Spring and Summer starts. The Medaille MBA Program is IACBE accredited.
Pace University, New York
Lubin School of Business at Pace University offers an EMBA Program that may be completed mostly online. Per the school, the 54 credit hour, nine-course program “combines online instruction with weekend residencies conveniently held in New York City every ten weeks. Total on-campus time commitment is just 34 days.” Just a few course requirements include Business Analysis, Corporate Diversification Strategy, Organizational Behavior and Change, Operations Management, and Corporate Finance. This cohort-based program ends with a six-credit Independent Project and Business Simulation, which allows students to solve a real business problem or explore a new business. The PACE Lubin EMBA program may be completed in 20 months and it is AACSB accredited.
St. Thomas Aquinas College, Sparkill
The School of Business at St. Thomas Aquinas College (STAC) offers a fully Online MBA Program that may be completed in just one year, full-time. The MBA degree requires a total of 57 credits, but many students earn up to 24 course waiver credits based on previous undergraduate or graduate credits. Available Concentrations include Finance, Marketing, Management and the General MBA. Online courses for all areas follow a quarterly schedule, and sessions begin in September, December, March, and June. First time students can begin this IACBE accredited program in any session.
Manhattan College, Riverdale
The School of Business at Manhattan College offers an Online MBA Program that explores three academic modules: Analysis and Risk Management, Leadership and Social Justice, and Organizations and the Competitive Environment. Students in this 36 credit hour, fully online program have access to the school’s New York City based campus as well as “distinguished faculty and guest speakers,” says the school. Just a few required courses include Leadership and Organizational Behavior, Advanced Data Analysis, Environmental Economics, Going Global: Business and Society, Project Management, and Advanced Strategic Management. A Study Trip is also part of the curriculum. Students who have an undergraduate business degree may complete this AACSB accredited program in about two years. For students with a non-business degree, the program will take 2.5 years to complete.
Excelsior College, Albany
The School of Business & Technology at Excelsior College offers 10 Online MBA Programs including Accounting, Cyber Security Management, General, Health Care Management, Human Performance Technology, Human Resource Management, Leadership, Mediation and Arbitration, Social Media Management, and Technology Management. Designed specifically for working adults and other nontraditional students, the Online MBA highlights generous credit-transfer and credit-waiver policies (waive up to 15 credits through exams), personalized academic support, “a budget-friendly fee and tuition structure,” and no on-campus requirements. With the exception of the Accounting and Mediation & Arbitration Concentrations, the 33 credit hour Excelsior MBA is IACBE accredited.
