Rutgers – The State University of New Jersey-Newark/New Brunswick, New Brunswick
Rutgers Business School of The State University of New Jersey-Newark/New Brunswick offers a 100% online MBA Program that consists of 54 credit hours of study—depending on the student’s prior academic record. The breakdown is as follows: required courses (33 credits), three elective courses (nine credits), and four foundation courses (12 credits, which may be waived based on prior academic record). Students can expect to take required courses such as Operations Management: Productivity and Quality, Managing Projects and Information Technology, International Business Environment, and Strategic Management: Integrating the Enterprise. The Rutgers Business School Online MBA is AACSB accredited and it ranked #163 Nationally by U.S. News & World Report.
Centenary University, Hackettstown
Centenary University offers a No GRE or GMAT MBA that may be completed 100% online or a combination of both online and in-person classes. The 39 credit hour (13 course) Centenary MBA highlights Specialized Concentrations in Health Administration, Leadership, Marketing, and Management as well as an accelerated format that allows students to complete the program in as few as two years. Students can expect to take required foundation courses such as Leadership, Management Information Systems, and Legal and Social Environment of Business. Additional course options include The Global Business Environment, Problems in Marketing, and Financial Management Quantitative Analysis, to name a few. All students will complete a Capstone Business Strategy Course at the end of the program. Centenary University has received specialized accreditation for its business programs through the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE).
New Jersey Institute of Technology
The School of Management and New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) offers an Online MBA with Specializations in Finance, Management Information Systems, and Marketing. Composed of 16 courses (48 credits total), the NJIT Online MBA is delivered over eight 15-week semesters. Students typically enroll in two classes per semester. Two graduate-level certificate programs are also available and include Management Essentials and Management of Technology. Per the school, the certificates “can stand alone or function as a transition point for students to enter the full Online MBA Program.” The NJIT School of Management is fully accredited by AACSB.
Montclair State University, Montclair
The Feliciano School of Business at Montclair State University offers two MBA options for students who prefer few to no on-campus requirements. The MBA is offered fully online (Online MBA) or hybrid (Hybrid MBA). The Hybrid MBA highlights a combination of online study and face-to-face class meetings on alternating Saturdays, and a nine to 10 day International Study Trip. This program may be completed in just 24 months. The Online MBA features several options including the General MBA (No Specialization) and the MBA with Specializations in Digital Marketing, Human Resources Management, Marketing, and Project Management. Students can complete the 36 credits required for the General MBA program in 24 months and the 39 credits required for a Specialization in 24 to 27 months. Thomas Edison State University, Trenton
The School of Business and Management at Thomas Edison State University offers a “rigorous” Online MBA Program that may be completed in just 15 months. All courses for the accelerated, 39 credit hour program are offered in eight-week formats, six terms per year including January, March, May, July, September and November. Areas of study include Data Analytics, Finance, Healthcare Management, Human Resource Management, and Marketing. Online MBA start/entry periods are January, May and September. As part of Thomas Edison State University, the Online MBA Program is regionally accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE).
