We are pleased to announce that Maastricht School of Management (MSM), Marquette University, Queens University, and Touro University Worldwide now offer a variety of online programs every aspiring MBA should know about. Some are brand new, others have been revamped, and all are accepting applications for admission right now. Here you go.
Maastricht School of Management (MSM) – Maastricht, Netherlands
Maastricht School of Management (MSM) has revamped its Online MBA program in response to the ever-changing needs of the market. With the new changes to the program, students will have even greater flexibility, more interaction with peers, and unlimited networking opportunities. According to the school, through the interactive discussion forum, students can stay connected with their peers and professors to share experiences, pose questions, discuss real business cases and initiate debates. Students can also choose the blended option by following the specialization courses on campus in Maastricht in July. Specializations for the fully online option include Accounting & Finance and International Business and Sustainable Development. Blended option specializations Accounting & Finance, Entrepreneurship, Healthcare Management, International Business and Sustainable Development, Public Sector Management, Sports Management, The Digital Economy, and Wine Management.
Courses for the MSM Online MBA are delivered in 8-weeks modules, in an active learning format consisting of practice-oriented assignments, journal entry discussions, and a final assignment/project. The discussion forum is the place where students connect, interact, share experiences and work together with fellow professionals making them part of a diverse and international virtual classroom. Career services are also included in the MSM Online MBA with career services tips, presentations, and webinars.
The next start dates for this part-time, two-year program are June and November 2018.
Maastricht School of Management was founded in 1952. The school offers graduate business programs to students around the globe. The MSM MBA program is accredited by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE), the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), the Association of MBA's (AMBA), and the Dutch-Flemish Accreditation Organization (NVAO).
Marquette University – Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Marquette University’s Graduate School of Management has launched an Online MBA program that can be completed in just 28 months. Set to begin this fall, the cohort MBA program has space for 25 students, who will complete 33-39 credit hours during the length of the program, depending on their background. Students will take two classes per term each fall, spring and summer with the same “great faculty and same curriculum,” but with more convenient delivery. Sample courses for the program include Business Essentials: IT/Marketing/Supply Chain, Concepts for Ethical Business Practice, Corporate Social Responsibility, Innovation and Creativity, and Leading People and Change.
Students are required to complete a non-credit, teams-based exercise in semester one to assist the students in forming a virtual team. “The admissions standards and process are the same for the online cohort” as it is for the traditional MBA program. “While the school does not require work experience, it is highly recommended that students have at least a couple of years of experience to fully appreciate the applied nature of the program.”

Queens University – Charlotte, North Carolina
Queens University of Charlotte has launched an Online MBA program that provides one-on-one sessions with an executive coach, ongoing guidance from an alumni mentor, and feedback on leadership through 360-degree reviews from peers and instructors. Still in its first few years of existence, the program is offered through Queens’ McColl School of Business, with a “robust” core curriculum that focuses on topics such as organizational behavior, leadership development, global perspectives and analytics.
Students choose one of two concentrations including Healthcare or Leadership. According to the school, the Healthcare concentration “explores the functions of business in the context of hospitals, clinics, insurance companies and other healthcare-related organizations.” In the Leadership concentration, “students get an in-depth view of what it takes to run a business at the top levels, with studies in strategic thinking, core governance and ethics.”
Although the MBA program is offered online, students have the opportunity to interact face-to-face with their coaches and mentors as well as with faculty members, elite executives and fellow students via two residencies on the Queens campus in Charlotte, North Carolina. The first residency takes place before classes begin and the second residency occurs approximately halfway through the program and focuses on the professional development of each student with customized 360-degree reports for each student, leadership assessments, executive coaching sessions, a keynote address from a leading business executive and more.

Touro University Worldwide - Los Alamitos, California
Touro University Worldwide (TUW) launched its fourth graduate program in the online market just a few years ago. The new TUW Online MBA program joined the Master of Arts in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, the Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy, and the Master of Arts in Media and Communications Psychology.
The Online MBA is available in an accelerated format that allows students to complete the program in just five months. Other program highlights include a new learning theory (the scholar-practitioner model of applied theory), which focuses curriculum on foundational theories that can be applied directly in business, and a learner-centered approach to study that includes small class sizes and scholar-practitioner instructors.
The program also highlights five unique concentrations including Accounting, Finance, Global Management, Human Resources Management, and Marketing. According to the school, “these concentrations cover major business concepts and provide students with a comprehensive overview of the central ideas for targeted program outcomes. Students will complete nine semester credit hours in their desired concentration.”
There are no entrance exams, and TUWs 100% online courses are offered six times a year, enabling students to start when it is most convenient for them.
Touro University Worldwide was founded in 1970. The school serves more than 19,000 students currently enrolled in various schools and divisions across the country and around the world. TUW offers online programs in professional fields at the bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate levels in subjects such as business, law, social work, Jewish studies, technology, health science degrees, medical degrees and more. Touro University Worldwide is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC).
