University of Michigan, Ross School of Business, Ann Arbor, Michigan
The new Online MBA at Michigan Ross is a 57 credit hour program that includes self-guided modules, real-time class sessions, and in-person leadership development residencies. An action-based learning project (MAP) is also part of the program.
Self-guided modules consist of short instructional videos that identify and explain key concepts. Students can work at their own pace on these modules, as long as they have completed certain designated modules in time for the synchronous learning event. Real-time class sessions consist of live online events with faculty and students for case discussions, group work, and presentations. A typical 2.25-credit course has four of these synchronous events.
Leadership development residencies occur three times throughout the program. These on-campus meetings cover topics such as business innovation, business transformation, and business leadership. These required residencies are three credits each. Students can expect to complete this part-time Online MBA in less than 2.5 years.
Founded in 1924, Michigan Ross serves more than 4,000 students from all 50 states and 114 countries. With more than 50,000 alumni around the globe, Michigan Ross has a 98% employment rate for business program graduates. Michigan Ross is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
