Florida is home to more than 100 colleges and universities with business programs. According to the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB), nearly 20 are accredited by the agency and many of these schools made our list of Best Online MBA Programs in Florida. Just a few include Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida, the College of Business at Florida State University, and the School of Business Administration at Stetson University. University of Florida, Gainesville
The Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida (UF) is one of the first schools to offer a fully accredited Online MBA Program. The AACSB accredited program has two flexible options including an Accelerated Online MBA, that allows students to complete the program in just 16 months, and a “Two-Year Option,” which takes 27 months to complete. A concurrent Outreach Engineering Management (OEM) Master’s (OEM/MBA) is also on the menu. While all coursework for the Accelerated Program and Two-Year Option may be completed entirely online, students must visit the Gainesville campus once per term (once every four months) to take final exams and to deliver final presentations. The Kate Tiedemann College of Business at University of South Florida St. Petersburg (USFSP) offers an AACSB accredited MBA Program that may be completed entirely online. Online courses are taught in “compact” eight-week sessions, which allow part-time students to enroll in just one course at a time. Focus Tracks include Corporate Social Responsibility, Finance, Forensic Accounting, International Business, Management, Information Systems Management (formerly Managing Knowledge Resources), and Marketing Strategy. A Global MBA Track is also on the menu and requires one Study Abroad Course. In addition to AACSB accreditation, the Tiedemann Online MBA:

The Graduate School of Business at Florida International University (FIU) offers a Corporate MBA Online (CMBA) with specializations in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Finance, International Business, Marketing Channel Strategy, Business Analytics and Strategic Negotiations. Tailored for busy, working professionals, the FIU CMBA requires four years of demonstrated professional full time work experience (without GMAT or GRE scores) or two years of professional full time work experience (with GMAT or GRE scores). The program, which ranked #60 Nationally by U.S. News & World Report is AACSB accredited.
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona Beach
The College of Business at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) offers two Online MBA Programs including the MBA in Aviation Management and the MBA in Aviation (MBAA). According to the school, “Both degrees provide traditional business skills, but are unique in their focus on the aviation and aerospace industries.” Additional specializations include Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Marketing, International Business, and Public Administration. The ERAU MBA ranked #81 Nationally by U.S. News & World Report and it is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).
Stetson University, DeLand
The School of Business Administration at Stetson University and the University of Florida (UF) College of Pharmacy offer a unique degree program that allows students to complete a concurrent MS in Pharmacy and Stetson MBA. Coursework for the Stetson MBA focuses on the pharmaceutical industry and it is offered online, exclusively to students enrolled in the UF Online MS in Pharmacy Program. According to the schools, the program allows students to complete the two, 30-credit master’s degrees much more quickly than they otherwise could. Students generally complete 24 credits in the UF Pharmacy program, and 24 credits in the Stetson MBA program. Both schools are AACSB accredited and the Stetson MBA ranked #84 Nationally by U.S. News & World Report.
Southeastern University, Lakeland
The Jannetides College of Business & Entrepreneurial Leadership at Southeastern University (SEU) offers an Online MBA Program that may be completed in 12 to 24 months. The 36 to 39 credit hour program offers concentrations in Executive Leadership, Missional Leadership, and Sport Management. The Jannetides Online MBA Program is ACBSP accredited and it:

The School of Business and Industry (SBI) at Florida A&M University (FAMU) offers an Online MBA Program that highlights one short-term international residency (included in tuition). The residency offers the opportunity to interact with executives from multinational corporations in places such as Brazil, China and Chile. The school also has an “extensive” cache of more than 100 corporate partners and a job placement rate of over 85%. Lutgert College of Business at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) offers an AACSB accredited MBA that may be completed entirely online. The 45 credit hour program “emphasizes the application of analytical, technical, and behavioral tools to solve organizational problems. Leadership and teamwork, the appropriate application of technology, entrepreneurial approaches, and global and ethical awareness are integrated throughout the program.” In addition to AACSB accreditation, the Lutgert Online MBA ranked #157 Nationally by U.S. News & World Report.
Everglades University, Boca Raton
Everglades University offers a 36 credit hour Online MBA that may be completed in just 12 months. Business Administration courses (21 credit hours) range from Accounting for Decision Makers to Marketing Management. Elective courses (12 credit hours) include Information Technology Applications in Decision Making, Managerial Economics, Strategic Sales and Marketing Management, and Advanced Organizational Behavior. Students will also complete a Business Administration Capstone Course (three credit hours). Everglades University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) to award bachelors and master's degrees.
Lynn University, Boca Raton
The College of Business and Management at Lynn University offers an Online MBA Program with a variety of specializations ranging from the traditional to the innovative. They include Aviation Management, Entrepreneurial Management, Financial Valuation and Investment Management, Hospitality Management, Human Resource Management, International Business, Marketing, Media Management, Sports Management, Web Development Management, and Social Innovation Management. The 37-credit program consists of The 37-credit MBA program is comprised of 19 credits for foundation courses (seven courses), nine specialization credits, and nine elective credits. An optional internship is also on the menu. The College of Business and Management at Lynn University is IACBE accredited.
Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale
The H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business & Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University (NSU) is home to the largest MBA and Accounting programs in Florida. Focus areas include Business Intelligence/Analytics, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Human Resource Management, International Business, Management, Marketing, Process Improvement, Sport Revenue Generation and Supply Chain Management. The Online MBA program may be completed in as few as 12 months. Huizenga College of Business & Entrepreneurship IACBE accredited.
University of Miami, Coral Gables
The School of Business at University of Miami offers an Online MBA Program that takes 24 to 26 months to complete. The program (UOnline MBA) has several optional focus areas including Corporate Finance, Financial Decision Making, and Accounting Practice. Professional MBA students will take 42 credit hours to complete the program while Corporate Finance and Financial Decision making MBA students will take 47 credit hours. The Accounting Practice MBA consists of 51 credit hours. The AACSB accredited UOnline MBA requires an Orientation Weekend at the Coral Gables campus and a Miami Residency. The residency is a weeklong immersion session where students will take one full, accelerated course on campus.
Hodges University, Naples
The Johnson School of Business at Hodges University offers an MBA that may be completed online, in an accelerated in-class format, or a combination of formats for qualifying students. This general business degree program highlights “critical competencies such as planning, decision making, environmental scanning, financial analysis, marketing, global business and business research.” The Johnson School of Business is IACBE accredited.
Kaplan University, Fort Lauderdale
Kaplan University (KU) offers an Online MBA Program with six concentrations options. They include Finance, Health Care Management, Human Resources, Information Technology, Marketing and Project Management. The program consists of 76 credits with a concentration and 60 without. Kaplan University is regionally accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA) and according to the school’s website, all of Kaplan University’s online and campus-based business degree programs, excluding its Master of Science in Finance degree, are ACBSP accredited.
Schiller International University, Largo
Schiller International University offers a fully online MBA with five concentrations. Options include Business Administration, International Business, International Hospitality and Tourism Management, Management of Information Technology, Business Administration, and Financial Planning. The Business Administration MBA requires 36 credit hours to complete and it concentrates on concentrates on managerial aspects of finance and accounting, marketing, and management. In addition to the required 36 credit hours, students in other concentrations must complete required courses in their major. Schiller International University has been accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) since 1983.
Webber International University, Babson Park
The Graduate School of Business at Webber International University offers an MBA with a Concentration in International Business. While courses for the concentration are delivered online, students must attend other classes on campus, one night a week, over the course of a ten-week term. The program is available through a four-term format offered annually (Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer). The concentration also has a study abroad component—MBA 684: Travel Experience in International Business. Webber International University business programs (Babson Park, Florida Campus) are accredited through IACBE.
