Alabama is home to dozens of business schools that offer degrees at the associate, bachelors and master’s degree level. Eleven of these schools are accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB), including four that made our “Best” list. They include Raymond J. Harbert College of Business at Auburn University, the College of Business at University of North Alabama, Brock School of Business at Samford University, and the College of Commerce and Business Administration Jacksonville State University.

Earning an MBA can lead to better job opportunities, promotions, and a higher salary. The MBA is America’s most popular business degree after all, and just about every business school offers it. While the MBA is America’s most sought after business degree, it’s not the only degree path for students seeking a lucrative position in the corporate world. In fact, there are at least three other advanced business degrees that have grown in popularity over the years. They include the Master of Science (MS) in Finance, the MS in Management, and the MS in Marketing.

Just about every MBA program has an international component or two that allow students to gain the global experience and perspective today’s companies are looking for. Some of these experiences may last a few weeks, while others may last an entire semester. While any international experience is a valuable asset, imagine what a year or two in France, Germany or England would do for your career. Well, this is the path that many MBA students choose to take today and one of the most popular locations is Europe.
